The Lion King

I wanna tell you about the adventures of Mufasa, Simba, Scar and all those characters marked my childhood. I remember every one of the scenes and also every song that accompanied the scenes of the movie.

I think this was the first movie I went to see to cinema. I went with my cousins and my sister. My aunt left us in the theater and went shopping at the mall.

I think what I like most of the movie is the different sensations which will make you go. In one moment I couldn't stopped laughing with my cousins when Timón and Pumba appeared on the scene; And another time my sister was crying over the death of the father of Simba, Mufasa who was killed by his brother Scar.

Another thing that I like of this movie, is their capacity of entertainment at children and her fathers at the same time. It was the pioneer in imposing style that are typical of children's movies that are made today, movies like "Up" and "Wall-e".

Nelson "Madiba" Mandela

Hi everybody, today I going talk about Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a great man for the world, in specific for SouthAfrica where he fought to finish with the apartheid and with the racism in all the world.

Well, He was born 18 July 1918 in Mvezo, a small city in SouthAfrica. He was the first president in his country elected by a fully representative democratic election (ten May 1994 - fourteen June 1999). Also was Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 because his contribution to peace and the defeat of racism.

I like Nelson Mandela, because through their actions shows the way to make possible fight for what we believe correct, that there are different mechanisms (often outside the traditional way) to achieve those goals we believe are correct. Is by this reason we should take their life like example to don't give up and fight for our ideals, even if we have great difficulties to complete our objectives.

All is possible if we put all our effort, enthusiasm and conviction that we are building together a better world for all inhabitants of this planet, because this depends on each and every one of us.

I expect to believe in themselves and their abilities and to share the idea that together we can improve our world. See you all in class!

MUSIC!

Well, I think the music is marvellous of all point of view. When I'm listening music I can feel a lot of different sensations; the different melodies transport me to other places, to other times, and too make me remember special persons and periods of my life that have marked me. Seeing it another way, the music too help me to wake up for example, encourage me, help me to concentrate me on studying (in this moment I'm listening music that makes my English flowing through me xd), etc...

I started listen the music to was in fashion. I remember that techno and merengue beat a lot in that time. Was of this way that I'm left with the second style and started to listen latin music; I knew groups such as "Fulanito", "Sandy & Papo" and others. I started to like the rap that coincided with the rise of this movement in Chile. Groups like "Los Tetas" and "Tiro de Gracia" were to my liking.

I started to investigate deeper into this style and I realized that rap was just a branch of a broader movement called hip-hop; This liked me a lot, but we're talking about music... I didn't categorize me in just one style, but today the rap is what more I listen, I also like reggae, r&b, jazz and others.

"Salvaje Decibel" is the name of the band of rap that today is my favorite. Their social thematics and his excellent sound make me wait with eagerly his second album, which will go to sale this year. This group and a lot of others hope to create social conscience of the abuses and injustices that living by the poorest social strata of Chilean society of our days.

I hope you like it, bye!
