Farewell...

Hi everybody! Well this is my final posting and I wanna tell you classmates, about what meant to me this experience in the English class and the blog experience.

I think you already know this is the second time I have to take the class of English 3... The first time was a bad experience and although also we used the blog like way of evaluation, wasn't the same. Also before, I didn’t like the English and thanks to this course I think there was a change and I can say this is one of my favourites classes of this semester... really! :D

I believed that the blog was a bad form of evaluation but as I said before, this changed with this class. Blogging has helped me to expand mi vocabulary and start thinking in English, is rare but is really! Also helped to me to learn as use a blog, upload images and videos and others. The form in as we can to relate with ourselves through the blog, like me too.

Other of the advantages of the Blog, are the issues that touch. Because unlike of previous English course what I had the last year, those of today have to do with the contingency and don't have specific relation with topics of interest to the career, which in itself isn't very entertaining. What happened with the blog about the "the sex in the relationship"? :O

Well I hope you liked my humble blog... I don't believe I'll follow publishing in this blog but maybe I'll create another because now I think the blog is a great media for comunicate and publish things of interest. Finally I would hope we finish the semester with a farewell party with a barbecue and something to pass the cold! Do you like this idea?

See you in class!

"CEACHEÍ!...

The football is the sport most beautiful of the world, I Think is on e of the best invention of the history. The football is for my, like religion is for the people; the stadium is my church and the football ball my cross.

I'm fanatic to the football team of the "Universidad de Chile". I'm going to every match if this is possible. I belong at "Los de Abajo" the "barra-brava" of the football team and I sing the ninety minutes play.

My favourite Chilean player is Marcelo Salas, I think he is one of the best player in the history of our football. "El Matador" (nickname of Marcelo Salas) is the maximum scorer chilean soccer selection and triumphed in all teams around the world in he played.

At worlwide I admire like football player at Diego Armando Maradona, who was world champion in México 86'. I like the way as he achieved this heroic deed, as became the team leader and led his country to glory. Also I like his way of being, the vision he has on society where he has shown his reject to ideas of capitalism and intervention of USA in Latin America.

About the present edition of the FIFA World Cup, I wanna tell you to Chile will be the World champion! We have the players, they have teamed to build up hopes to all the people of our country!

Tomorrow will be the debut of our football team and I don’t doubt will be a day to celebrate!

...CHI! ELEÉ! LE! CHICHICHI! LELELE! VIVA CHILEEE!"

Remote Control!

Today dear classmates, I want to thanks to the inventor of this wonderful device to name "remote control".

This device makes my life much more pleasant and I think that is the same for all, thanks to him is that we may be lying in our beds and change the channel on the TV, radio, dvd, Wii or whatever we have in our houses with remote control.

I think we don't take the weight of our life without remote controls. I remember when I was little, I had to stand up from my comfortable seat to change of channel and reach the same TV to put my favorite cartoon series ... and this even to up the volume!

Ideally, most things in our home must be run by remote control, could this lead to a more sedentary life... but nothing is worse than losing our remote control!
I hope agree with me that the remote is a great invention, thanks Mr. Robert Adler!

And remember all women who read this post, this month the remote control is property exclusive of the guy of the house, you don't have any right to change the channel and less to claim if he invite a friend to watch a World Cup match!

The Lion King

I wanna tell you about the adventures of Mufasa, Simba, Scar and all those characters marked my childhood. I remember every one of the scenes and also every song that accompanied the scenes of the movie.

I think this was the first movie I went to see to cinema. I went with my cousins and my sister. My aunt left us in the theater and went shopping at the mall.

I think what I like most of the movie is the different sensations which will make you go. In one moment I couldn't stopped laughing with my cousins when Timón and Pumba appeared on the scene; And another time my sister was crying over the death of the father of Simba, Mufasa who was killed by his brother Scar.

Another thing that I like of this movie, is their capacity of entertainment at children and her fathers at the same time. It was the pioneer in imposing style that are typical of children's movies that are made today, movies like "Up" and "Wall-e".

Nelson "Madiba" Mandela

Hi everybody, today I going talk about Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a great man for the world, in specific for SouthAfrica where he fought to finish with the apartheid and with the racism in all the world.

Well, He was born 18 July 1918 in Mvezo, a small city in SouthAfrica. He was the first president in his country elected by a fully representative democratic election (ten May 1994 - fourteen June 1999). Also was Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 because his contribution to peace and the defeat of racism.

I like Nelson Mandela, because through their actions shows the way to make possible fight for what we believe correct, that there are different mechanisms (often outside the traditional way) to achieve those goals we believe are correct. Is by this reason we should take their life like example to don't give up and fight for our ideals, even if we have great difficulties to complete our objectives.

All is possible if we put all our effort, enthusiasm and conviction that we are building together a better world for all inhabitants of this planet, because this depends on each and every one of us.

I expect to believe in themselves and their abilities and to share the idea that together we can improve our world. See you all in class!

MUSIC!

Well, I think the music is marvellous of all point of view. When I'm listening music I can feel a lot of different sensations; the different melodies transport me to other places, to other times, and too make me remember special persons and periods of my life that have marked me. Seeing it another way, the music too help me to wake up for example, encourage me, help me to concentrate me on studying (in this moment I'm listening music that makes my English flowing through me xd), etc...

I started listen the music to was in fashion. I remember that techno and merengue beat a lot in that time. Was of this way that I'm left with the second style and started to listen latin music; I knew groups such as "Fulanito", "Sandy & Papo" and others. I started to like the rap that coincided with the rise of this movement in Chile. Groups like "Los Tetas" and "Tiro de Gracia" were to my liking.

I started to investigate deeper into this style and I realized that rap was just a branch of a broader movement called hip-hop; This liked me a lot, but we're talking about music... I didn't categorize me in just one style, but today the rap is what more I listen, I also like reggae, r&b, jazz and others.

"Salvaje Decibel" is the name of the band of rap that today is my favorite. Their social thematics and his excellent sound make me wait with eagerly his second album, which will go to sale this year. This group and a lot of others hope to create social conscience of the abuses and injustices that living by the poorest social strata of Chilean society of our days.

I hope you like it, bye!

My 27th February. DAMN!

The 27th February, I was with my neighborhood friends enjoying the last days of our holidays. We were playing poker and drinking beer. At 3 AM o'clock we decided go to the street to keep talking about the life and what we could do in the rest of our holidays. "Fito", one of my friends, decided go to bought hotdogs to everybody. Another friend went with him, and the rest stayed waiting in the corner, keeping talking, when all began...

All around began to move, we think it was a small and short earthquake, but suddenly we looked the sky and this was illuminated with lights to the colours of the rainbow; the electric transformers started to explode due the movement of the light poles.

When the movement of the earth began to stop, all of us ran to our houses to see our family. I had to force the door of my apartment because I was stuck. Finally I got to my house and saw at my mom and my sister, they were well and I tranqulize. Everything in my house was on the floor, but fortunately my apartment didn't suffered structural damage. My family didn't suffered damage. My friends and their families were well too.

And that was my 27th February, bye to all!
